Alpha Chi Honor Society Scholarship

This fund was established bby the New York Omicron Chapter of Alpha Chi, the National College Honors Society to attract and support highly qualified students to SUNY Brockport and to encourage continuing academic excellence among award winners.

Eligible students must

1. Be accepted for admission to SUNY Brockport in any academic field and enrolled as a full-time student at the undergraduate level.
2. Demonstrate academic excellence in their scholastic achievements as being among the top tier of incoming, first-time freshman applicants using the current admission metrics as judged by the selection committee.
3. Demonstrate significant participation in extra-curricular and community service activities.

Recipients can renew this scholarship for a maximum of four academic years if they:

1. Possess an annual cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
2. Remain enrolled as a full-time student.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.

Incoming students are considered for scholarships based on their admissions application – they should not apply through the scholarship portal. For best consideration, students are encouraged to submit their application by February 15th.
