Payton Choreographic Award

This fund was established by the Department of Dance to recognize an outstanding student at SUNY Brockport in the Department of Dance who has demonstrated commitment and the potential for excellence in the career of choreography.

Eligible students must

1. Be a full-time enrolled Dance major at the undergraduate level with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
2. Be a continuing returning student for at least one semester after the award selection is confirmed.
3. Have the support of the full-time faculty who instruct courses in choreography and have completed at least one semester of the dance choreography sequence of courses at the time of application.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
