William B. Hemmer Environmental Health Scholarship
This scholarship honor a Brockport student who has successfully applied the principles of community action in working with concerned citizens in their campus and/or community to promote a more healthful environment.
Eligible students must
- Be a graduate or undergraduate student at SUNY Brockport with a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Have successfully completed a course in environmental health taken in the Department of Health Science at Brockport
- Possess a strong record of volunteering on campus or in the community with public or private organization(s) working to promote a more healthful environment.
This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. If the recipient is graduating, they will receive a cash award instead.
