Andrew M. Schaffel ’03 Communication Leadership Scholarship

*ELIGIBILITY and CRITERIA *
*Students must: *

• Be enrolled as a Communication Studies major, have full-time status, and be a rising junior or senior.
• Be a communication studies major with a demonstrated passion for storytelling, media, public relations, digital communication, or a related area of the communications field.
• Demonstrate leadership in the communications field, through internships, campus media, student organizations, professional experiences, community involvement, or academic projects that showcase initiative and influence.
• Demonstrate creativity, curiosity, and the ability to use the power of communication to make an impact beyond the classroom as judged by the selection committee.

Preference will be given to a student who has used communication to connect people, amplify a meaningful story, create positive change, or give a voice to others.
