Kathleen Burns O'Connell Scholarship
The family of Kathleen Burns O’Connell delivered funds to the State University College at Brockport Foundation, Inc. to establish the Kathleen Burns O’Connell Scholarship. Kathleen Burns O’Connell is a proud 1967 graduate of SUNY Brockport. Her four years at Brockport were formative for Kathleen as she not only made many lifelong friends, but also discovered her love of teaching. An elementary school teacher in the Guilderland Central School District (NY) for more than 30 years, Kathleen initially established this scholarship to provide financial support for a Brockport student who shares her passion for igniting young minds.
