Jacques and Dawn Lipson Award in Visual, Performing or Creative Arts

This scholarship provides assistance for a current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in the fine, creative or performing arts (Art, Communication, Dance, English, Journalism/Broadcasting, and Theatre), or minoring in Music Studies to participate in professional level workshops or advanced level study, to attend professional auditions, or to participate in festivals and workshops sanctioned by the College over the summer. Applicants may be returning, full-time students, freshman through graduate, including graduating students. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or better overall, and a 3.5 or better GPA in the major. The award is a maximum $1,000 tuition credit for the semester following the summer activity or a maximum $1,000 reimbursement for approved experience.

This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees OR as an expense reimbursement. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash, unless being reimbursed for approved expenses.
