Christopher Ziegler Memorial Scholarship

This award was created by family and friends of Christopher Ziegler, class of 2000, in memorial of a great friend, Pi Kappa Phi fraternity brother, family member, and husband and father. This scholarship recognizes an outstanding participant in Eta Lambda Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi (first preference) or another recognized Greek social organization (secondary preference) if there is no eligible member of Pi Kappa Phi. In the event there are no eligible Greek applicants, the award should go to a student heavily involved in campus activities. The student must exemplify the ideals and characteristics as set forth by the national PKP national organization, demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence as exemplified by a GPA of 2.75 or higher, a strong record of participation in campus activities, and, for members of Pi Kappa Phi, demonstrate excellence in brotherhood.

This is an Apply-To Opportunity. Applicants will need to submit one or more additional items to be considered for this award after submitting the General Application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
