Merrill J. Melnick KSSPE Scholarship

This fund recognizes an outstanding junior-year undergraduate student in the Department of Kinesiology, Sports Studies and Physical Education (KSSPE) who possess an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, have actively participated in any KSSPE-acknowledged club as a student, and have expressed interest in pursuing a graduate degree or advanced certification in a profession related to kinesiology, sport studies or physical education following graduation from Brockport.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “All Kinesiology, Sports Studies and Physical Education General Scholarships (KSSPE)" application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
