Brockport Alumni Association Scholarship

This fund was established by the Brockport Alumni Association to recognize students from alumni families who demonstrate a high degree of current and future success and is a well-rounded contributing member of their communities.

Eligible continuing students must

  1. Be a continuing full-time, undergraduate or graduate student at SUNY Brockport.
  2. Demonstrate academic excellence with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  3. Demonstrate participation in co-curricular involvement and community service and/or a successful record of part-time or full-time employment may be considered but is not required.
  4. Be related to a Brockport graduate. The relationship between the applicant and the alumnus/ a must be a sibling, parent, grandparent, or legal guardian.

Eligible incoming students must

  1. Be accepted as a full-time, incoming first-year student, incoming transfer, or an incoming graduate student at SUNY Brockport.
  2. Demonstrate academic excellence as an undergraduate student with an academic profile of at least a high school GPA of 90 or higher as an incoming first-year student OR demonstrate academic excellence as an incoming transfer or graduate student with an academic profile of a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
  3. Demonstrate participation in co-curricular involvement and community service and/or a successful record of part-time or full-time employment may be considered but is not required.
  4. Be related to a Brockport graduate. The relationship between the applicant and the alumnus/a must be a sibling, parent, grandparent, or legal guardian.

Incoming students are considered for scholarships based on their admissions application – they should not apply through the scholarship portal. For best consideration, students are encouraged to submit their application by February 15th.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
