Warren M. Morgan Memorial Award in English

This scholarship recognizes an outstanding, rising senior who is majoring in English. Eligible students must also be a full-time student with an overall GPA of at least 2.5 and a GPA in English courses of at least 3.0, and who demonstrates professional promise. This fund was established to honor the memory of the late Dr. Warren M. Morgan, Professor of English, 1942-1962.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “All Department of English Scholarships" application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a check if the recipient is a graduate of SUNY Brockport before the fall semester of the award period. If the recipient is not a graduate by the start of the fall semester of the award period, the financial assistance will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period and the student must use this award for educational expenses at the College.
