Warren H. '57 and Mary Ann Hewes Scholarship
This scholarship is an enduring legacy to the Heweses who dedicated their lives to lifelong education. Eligible students will be accepted for admission and enroll at SUNY Brockport into the Literacy Education Program (MSEd) or any other future Literacy Education Programs at the graduate level, demonstrate academic excellence by possessing a 3.0 grade point average at minimum, and demonstrate a commitment to and the potential for excellence in the career of education.
Eligible incoming students are considered for this opportunity based on their undergraduate admission application.
The financial assistance is in the form of an educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
