Pauline M. Haynes Music Award

This scholarship recognizes a student who demonstrates exceptional talent, high achievement, and performance ability in voice, piano or a stringed instrument. Students must apply as sophomore or juniors to receive the award as a junior or senior. Applicants must have earned at least 30 credits at Brockport by the time this scholarship is awarded, and must demonstrate a high level of academic achievement as well as a potential for continuing study in music, as judged by the Music Scholarship selection committee.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
