Peter & Marguerite Kane Endowed Scholarship in Communication

This scholarship recognizes an outstanding student in SUNY Brockport’s Department of Communication. Eligible students must demonstrate academic excellence and a dedication to pursuing and expressing truth in the spirit of our democracy, demonstrate the potential for excellence in a future career in the field of communications, and demonstrate a need for financial assistance as judged by selection committee. First preference will be given to graduate student applicants, but all applications will be considered.

To be considered for this opportunity you must apply through the “All Department of Communication Scholarships" application.

The financial assistance is in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant that may be used to cover educational costs such as room, board or college fees. The award will be credited to the recipient’s bill during the semester(s) of the award period. The student must use this award for educational expenses at the College and may not receive the award in cash.
