Elmer J. and Fay Gallup Cloutier Scholarship

This award was established to perpetuate the memory of Dr. Elmer J. Cloutier, professor of Biology at the College from 1967 to 1981. The award recognizes outstanding performance in anatomical cell molecular biology, an area to which Dr. Cloutier devoted his teaching and research concerns for several years. It serves to encourage academic excellence and commitment to cellular-organismic biology and the development of laboratory techniques and skills requisite for ongoing research in this area.

Eligible students must

1. Be a matriculated biology major with junior or senior standing with at least one full year of residency at Brockport.
2. Have a GPA of at least 3.3.
3. Show potential for success at the post-baccalaureate level or in a professional school.

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
