Pauline M. Haynes Music Award
Established by Professor Emeritus Pauline M. Haynes, Head of the Department of Music, State University of New York College at Brockport, 1925-1965, to further love of music at Brockport through recognition of a student who demonstrates exceptional talent, high achievement and performance ability in voice, piano or string instrument.
Eligible students must
- Be a junior or senior at SUNY Brockport who has completed one full year (30 credit hours) of study
- Demonstrate a high level of academic achievement
- Demonstrate exceptional talent and performance ability in voice, piano or stringed instrument
- Demonstrate potential for continuing study in field of music
This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant. If the recipient is graduating, they will receive a cash award instead.
