Raymond C. and Theresa Shaheen Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was founded by Mr. Shaheen who has served SUNY Brockport as a member of the College Council since September, 1974 and as a member of the Brockport Foundation Board of Directors since September, 1977. The purpose of this award is to recognize an outstanding student at Brockport who is enrolled in the nursing program and to assist that student in completing his or her nursing studies.

Eligible students must

1. Be a junior enrolled in the Nursing Program
2. Have completed at least 40 credit hours at SUNY Brockport
3. Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
4. Commit to the profession of nursing

This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s tuition bill. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
