George W. Cornell Library Service and Administration Award
This award recognizes a student who has demonstrated scholastic achievement, and an excellent work performance in Drake Memorial Library. This is awarded in memory of Dr.Cornell, Director of Libraries from 1969 to 1985, by his family, friends and colleagues.
Eligible students must
- Be an upperclass student
- Be currently emplpoyed at the library and have worked in the library for at least one year
- Demonstrate a high level of academic achievement
Preference will be given to applicants entering their junior year.
This scholarship will be credited to the recipient’s bill in the form of a non-tuition educational expense grant, split evenly between the fall semester and the spring semester. It must be used for educational expenses and may not be received as cash.
