The annual application timeframe is from November 15th to February 15th each year to be considered for scholarships disbursed in the following academic year.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE & INCOMING STUDENTS
Incoming students – those who are not enrolled at SUNY Brockport as a first-year, transfer, or graduate student – will be considered for scholarship opportunities based on their admission application. They should NOT apply through the scholarship portal.

For best consideration, incoming students should apply for general admission through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by February 15th

APPLICANTS
1) You can check on the status on your applications at any point, even if the scholarship portal is closed. To view the status of submitted applications, view scholarship offers, and to submit your required materials: Log In > go to My Applications.
2) All scholarship recipients will need to review their Offer Letter, agree to the Terms & Conditions, and submit their Thank Your Benefactor materials for each scholarship offer.
3) Most questions are answered once reading your Offer Letter.

IMPORTANT TIMELINES
1) Foundation Scholarships applications are accepted annually between November 15th and February 15th of each academic year. The General Application will close on February 15 @ 11:59 pm. EST.
2) Drafted or Submitted General Applications will not be considered for scholarships with February 15th deadlines.
3) Edits to existing applications will not be accepted after the scholarship’s stated deadline.

HOW TO SEARCH FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
1) Click on the Show Filters button to find opportunities by certain attributes, majors, or other scholarship themes. You can search multiple filters at once by highlighting one option, holding down “control” or “command” and then highlighting an additional option. Click “Enter” when finished.
2) Use the Keyword Search to find scholarships.

The amounts stated for each award are for general information purposes and are not a guarantee of what a student may receive if awarded. Actual award amounts can vary based on recipient eligibility, available funds, and other factors.
